Give Hope Studio（以下「運営者」）は、アプリ「Sumi」（以下「本アプリ」）で取り扱う利用者の情報について、以下のとおり定めます。
1. 運営者

運営者の氏名・住所は、ご請求があれば遅滞なくお知らせします。
2. 取得する情報

話し相手の声（音声合成）のファイルは、再生のために端末の中に一時的に保存されます。
本アプリは広告を表示しません。取得した情報を販売することはありません。
3. 利用目的
- AI の話し相手との会話機能を提供するため（文字起こし、返答の作成、翻訳、音声合成）
- 以前の会話や記憶をもとに、会話を続きから行うため
- 会話を促す通知を送るため
- ログイン、アカウントの管理、不正な利用の防止のため
- お問い合わせに対応するため
- 本アプリの不具合の調査と改善のため
4. 外部サービスへの送信（委託）
本アプリは、次の外部サービスを利用しています。これらの事業者には、上記の目的に必要な範囲で情報を取り扱わせています。

OpenAI は、API を通じて受け取ったデータを、同社の方針に従い AI の学習に利用せず、不正利用の監視のために一定期間（原則30日以内）保管した後に削除するとしています。
これらの事業者は米国にあります。米国の個人情報保護に関する制度については、個人情報保護委員会が公表している情報をご確認ください。各事業者は、個人情報の保護のための措置を講じていることを公表しています。
法令に基づく場合を除き、利用者の同意なく、上記以外の第三者に情報を提供することはありません。
5. 保存期間と削除
情報は、アカウントが存在する間保存します。アカウントの削除をご依頼いただいた場合、アカウントと、それにひもづく呼び名・会話内容・記憶・利用状況・通知用の識別子を、30日以内に削除します。

6. 年齢について
本アプリは16歳以上の方を対象としています。16歳未満の方はアカウントを作成できません。
7. 安全管理
- 通信は暗号化（HTTPS）しています。
- 保存したデータは、本人のアカウントからしか読み書きできないよう、アクセスを制限しています。
- 外部サービスの鍵は、サーバー側でのみ管理しています。
8. 開示・訂正・削除などのご請求
ご自身の情報の開示、訂正、利用停止、削除を希望される場合は、登録したメールアドレスから support@givehopestudio.app までご連絡ください。ご本人であることを確認したうえで、遅滞なく対応します。
9. このポリシーの変更
機能の追加や法令の変更に応じて、このポリシーを変更することがあります。変更した場合は、このページで最終更新日とともにお知らせします。重要な変更がある場合は、本アプリ内でもお知らせします。
Sumi Privacy Policy (English)
This policy explains how Give Hope Studio ("we") handles information in the Sumi app ("the App"). If the Japanese and English versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Operator

2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address and password. Passwords are stored in encrypted form by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.
- Nickname: the name you ask the AI characters to call you.
- Date of birth: used only on your device to confirm you are 16 or older. It is not stored or transmitted.
- Voice recordings: audio you record with the microphone is sent to OpenAI for transcription. We do not store audio on our servers.
- Conversation content: transcripts of what you say and the AI characters' replies, stored to continue conversations.
- Memories: facts about you that the AI extracts from conversations (e.g., hometown, favorite things), stored so the AI characters remember you.
- Usage status: whether you have chatted, and the time and AI character of your last conversation.
- Notification token: a device identifier (FCM token) used to deliver notifications.
Synthesized character voice files are temporarily stored on your device for playback. The App shows no ads, and we never sell your information.
3. How we use information
To provide AI conversations (transcription, replies, translation, speech synthesis); to continue conversations based on past chats and memories; to send reminder notifications; to manage accounts and prevent misuse; to respond to inquiries; and to fix and improve the App.
4. Service providers
- Google LLC (Firebase), United States: authentication, data storage, server processing, and notifications.
- OpenAI, United States: transcription, reply generation, translation, speech synthesis, and memory extraction. According to OpenAI's policy, data sent via its API is not used to train its models and is retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deletion.
We do not share your information with any other third party without your consent, except as required by law.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account exists. When you request account deletion, we delete your account and its associated nickname, conversations, memories, usage status, and notification tokens within 30 days. See Account and data deletion.
6. Age requirement
The App is intended for users aged 16 and older. Users under 16 cannot create an account.
7. Security
All communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Stored data can be read and written only from the owner's own account. API keys for external services are kept on the server side only.
8. Your requests
To request access, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your information, email support@givehopestudio.app from your registered address. We will respond promptly after verifying your identity.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date, and significant changes will also be announced in the App.
